Forty-three-year-old bookkeeper Cheryl Saltmarsh, of Boscawen, has been indicted on one count of theft by unauthorized taking.

A Boscawen woman whose husband is a longtime police officer has been charged with stealing about $63,300 from the Penacook-Boscawen Water Precinct, where she worked as a bookkeeper and treasurer.

A 39-year-old Bow woman previously convicted of stealing from an employer pleaded guilty yesterday to stealing more than $340,000 from another employer, the nonprofit Capital Regional Development Council.
